Catherine Clatworthy, AOCA, CPF
Cathy Clatworthy, a native Canadian and graduate of the Ontario College of Art
& Design in Toronto, gave-up the corporate fast lane as a graphic designer to dwell among the antique prints at The
Allery, her former downtown Toronto gallery of eleven years. During those years she developed her skills in custom
picture framing, paper conservation and obtained designation CPF from PPFA (Professional Picture Framers Association).
In 1998 she began working as an educational trainer for the picture framing industry and with America's largest manufacturer
Larson-Juhl Company. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada conducting training programs,
specialized workshops and seminars for private galleries, government and corporate businesses. The year 2001 took her North
to the Canadian sub-arctic participating in a new economic development program for the Territory of Nunavut. She resides in
Yankton, South Dakota, where she owns and operates LilyCrest Cottage, a retail company providing Art, Framing, Antiques,
Giftware and Home Decor.
